How did they make games in 70s without a computer?
Cultural Shift at Microsoft, Zuck's interview, making games in the 70s, and inability to write
Hello hello! What’s up?
This is a letter, a personal letter, from me to you. I hope to send it to you every week. If you find it boring, or want to holler at me, just reply to this.
I am going to share three interesting things I came across the past week, every week.
Let’s get into it.
Cultural Shift at Microsoft
Redditor u/kayge explains the cultural shift that took place at Microsoft after Satya Nadella took over as the CEO, and why that has been the reason of their phenomenal comeback to the top of tech hierarchy.
They essentially reworked the incentives for high performers, and started getting amazing results!
One of the best Zuck interview
Mark Zuckerberg appeared on the acquired podcast (side note: love the podcast!).
It was a refreshingly nice interview by Zuck. The hosts fumble the bag a couple of times, but it’s still a great piece to listen.
How did they games without a computer in 70s?
Answer to this post explains how the game Pong was created in 70s, without using any computers to make them.
Fun read if you have any inclination towards basic electronics (not an easy read though).
Been trying to start writing since I’ve come back from euRoPE TriP. Haven’t been able find time + topics.
Hope to fix this, this week.
P.S. Hit me up if you’re looking for a team to build full stack web or mobile apps.
