A small biz opportunity in Indiranagar, Bangalore

Recently, I came across a tweet complaining about the lack of Basketball courts in Indiranagar:

Pickleball courts are taking over basketball courts. Sad news for basketball players!

But turns out it’s not because of the lack of demand:

When I read the above tweet, I suddenly remembered that I have a place near my house where there are basketball courts.

My wife had inquired about the place (to convert them to pickleball courts 😬) but the conversation didn’t conclude because she found a place somewhere else.

So I thought why not share this opportunity to create a small business with people!

There is a college/school which is pretty empty these days. They have the basketball courts that I am talking about.

The courts and college both are empty, so the administration is having talks with people who might want to use this infrastructure to generate revenue.

You can do a revenue share model with the college, generate good will among the basketball players, and proudly show off as an owner of sports facility 😀.

You can organize open plays, or rent out the place by the hour on Playo.

Your upfront costs should be very low, except for maybe some repairs.

Call on the numbers listed and try to get in touch with the dean or secretary. They would be the ones making a decision!
