The most important skill you'll ever learn
Storytelling masterclass, haunted domains, libraries over services, and cats are not dogs.
Hello hello! What’s up?
Happy Dhanteras, if you’re into it!
This is a letter, a personal letter, from me to you. I hope to send it to you every week. If you find it boring, or want to holler at me, just reply to this.
I am going to share three interesting things I came across the past week, every week.
Let’s get into it.
The Power of Story: Most important Skill you’ll ever learn
This two hour long podcast breaks down the skill of storytelling. Most importantly, they give examples and not just fluff words.
There are few things you can apply right off the bat, go check it out.
Before you buy a domain name, first check to see if it's haunted
I’ve made this mistake earlier. I bought a domain that was in its past life used for illegal activities.
This post takes you through the process of how to find out if your new domain is delisted from things like google search, and what to do fix the problem.
Write libraries instead of services, where possible
Short article explaining why you, as a developer, should write libraries instead of services.
Writing libraries shifts the onus of operation on user, rather then the developer, which is why libraries are easier to maintain, versus services.
Also, loved the web page’s simplicity. :)
I ended up writing a post as well. About how your cat is a very bad dog.
P.S. Hit me up if you’re looking for a team to build full stack web or mobile apps.
